You must calculate time you intend to use to fulfill your residency requirement. The residency requirement includes:

  • You must be a permanent resident and have lived in Canada for 3 years (1095 days) out of the last 5 years.
  • Applicants aged 18 to 54 must demonstrate proficiency in English or French
  • Pass a citizenship test by proving knowledge of Canadian history, values, and customs
